Quincecote, a little family smallholding tucked out of the way on the unspoilt, stunning, Hartland peninsula
Quincecote is relaxed & unique. A smallholding set within a few acres in an AONB at the end of a quiet country lane. Approximately 2 miles from the South West Coast Path and the dramatic rugged North Devon coastline at Hartland Quay and just up the lane from historic Hartland Abbey and gardens.
The village of Hartland is only a 15 minute walk through glorious woods and countryside and the imposing cliffs at Hartland Point with its helipad to Lundy are also only 2 miles away.
Meet Molly!
The Dart family live here and we would love to welcome you to the tranquil area of outstanding natural beauty we have always been lucky enough to call home.
We share our home with Shetland pony, Molly, our 3 dogs, chickens, geese, ducks & sometimes pigs & sheep along with a host of wildlife.
Come and visit us, relax, revel in the peace & tranquility, explore the beaches and rugged coastline, discover smugglers coves, eat, drink & recharge.
The Shepherds Hut
We offer the bespoke, stylish and cosy Quincecote Shepherds hut with all mod cons, set within its own garden.
The Hut has far reaching views over fields & the infamous St Nectans Church at Stoke ... dubbed the cathedral of North Devon & out to the Atlantic ocean at Hartland Quay.
The hut is ideally placed for walkers of the South West Coast Path, anyone travelling to Lundy Island via Hartland Point, Surfers,Explorers, or those seeking a relaxing break, to recharge and unwind in the rural peace and quiet, with huge dark starry night skies.
The Little White Town of Bideford, and the long sandy beaches at coastal towns Bude and Westward Ho! are all about 15 miles away, and the market towns of Barnstaple & Holsworthy are about 20 miles.
